Whit Weeks is keeping it in the family.

The LSU linebacker is returning to the university for what will be his senior season as a Tiger, he announced Thursday on Instagram.

Not only does Weeks play with two of his brothers at LSU, but he also happens to be dating new head coach Lane Kiffin’s daughter, Landry.

“College is too much fun to leave, and there is no better place in the country to be right now than Baton Rouge, Louisiana,” Weeks wrote. “All I want to do is ball in the purple and gold. See you in September.”

Weeks seemingly made the decision while on vacation with Landry, who shared a shirtless photo of her boyfriend while on a boat on her Instagram story.

The couple went public with their relationship in the same week that Kiffin — at the time with Ole Miss — was preparing to face Weeks and LSU on Sept. 27.

The head coach had the last laugh, beating the Tigers, 24-19, but now Weeks and Kiffin will be teaming up in 2026.

Weeks, who appeared in just eight games this season due to an ankle injury, shared some of his offseason adventures with Landry, including visiting the Rockefeller Christmas tree and soaking in the New York dining scene during the holidays.

It was also Landry’s birthday on Dec. 13, and the Ole Miss student hosted a lavish dinner that both Weeks and Lane attended along with other family members.

Kiffin, who opted against attending the Ole Miss College Football Playoff game on Thursday, posted a photo on X last month for his daughter’s special day that included Weeks standing next to him.

This season, Weeks tallied 14 solo tackles and 31 combined along with one sack, three tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.

It came following a 2024 season in which Weeks tallied a career-high 61 solo tackles, along with 3.5 sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles.

The Kiffin family should expect to be extra close within the next year as their paths cross further amid the college football chaos.
