After being ruled out for the New Year’s showdown against Victor Wembanyama, Mitchell Robinson will miss two games over four days due to load management.
But there was no setback and the plan is for Robinson to return in one of the upcoming back-to-back games at MSG, The Post has learned, either Friday vs the Hawks or Saturday vs the Sixers.
Robinson’s absence in the games this week — at New Orleans on Monday and at San Antonio on Wednesday — was notable because Robinson hadn’t rested consecutive games since October.
