There is no doubt Giants are Jaxson Dart's team

Brian Daboll was present on the ground floor of Jaxson Dart’s development and it is probably a deep, gnawing regret within the former Giants head coach that he will not be around to finish the job. And Mike Kafka has every right to feel more than a little wistful, as his time with Dart is likely coming to an end after Sunday’s season finale.

Dart has that way about him. Coaches gravitate to him. Teammates believe in him, win or lose. His reach stretches from one corner of the locker room to the other. He converses with players you would expect him to chat up and others you would not. In college at Ole Miss, Dart was not only a big man on campus but also a lead recruiter, without that title. He could get players to become Rebels by the sheer force of his will.

Coming off his worst game — 33 passing yards in a loss to the Vikings — there were more eyes on Dart last week than usual. How would he respond as the Giants took a nine-game losing streak and Dart took a personal seven-game losing streak into Las Vegas?

Anyone betting against him in Sin City lost whatever they wagered.
