Now, instead, they’ll play in the viral game known as “The People’s National Championship.”
The Cougars’ opponent, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, finished the regular season ranked No. 22. Their 9-3 record was good for second in the ACC, though they missed out on the conference title game.
