Ja Rule took “Put It On Me” to a whole other level at a recent golf outing.

The New York rapper/actor — real name Jeffrey Atkins — unintentionally pelted a bystander with a shanked shot Tuesday during the Derek Jeter Invitational at Baha Mar in the Bahamas.

The rapper’s shot immediately veered toward a reporter filming, Golfweek’s Adam Schupak, resulting in a loud thud as the entire crowd collectively uttered “Ooh” and grimaced.

It’s possible that the “Holla Holla” rapper and “Fast & Furious” actor got thrown off his game by a heckling announcer — no, not longtime adversary 50 Cent — as shown in video posted to social media by Jeter’s former Yankees teammate and new Hall of Famer CC Sabathia.

With a sizable crowd around him, Ja Rule took some practice swings while the announcer kept saying, “Ooh,” before tweaking the rapper: “Hey, Ja Rule, where’d you get those calf from?”

“I got to ignore ya’ll right now, I got to put this thing up,” Ja Rule said moments before disaster struck with his ball hitting an individual and immediately careening away.

Ja Rule, who didn’t even have a chance to yell, “Fore,” immediately stuck out his hand toward the individual, while a fellow golfer fell to a knee seemingly in disbelief.

Someone yelled out, “Damn,” while Ja Rule picked up what may have been left of his tee.

Schupak appeared to be in the vicinity of the ball based on a video he posted to X, although it’s hard to tell if he or another was hit by the ball.

“Ja Rule almost took me and a bunch of photographers out with his tee shot in the celebrity shootout at the Derek Jeter Invitational ⛳️,” he wrote.

Schupak did not mention any injuries he or others suffered on his social media account, so it seems that Ja Rule avoided any potential financial issues.

Ja Rule was one of the biggest rappers during the early years of Jeter’s Yankees stardom but eventually faded in the early 2000s amid a losing feud with Eminem and 50 Cent.
