Two teams with identical 8-4 records face off in tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup as the Philadelphia Eagles head west for a meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Eagles are coming into Week 14 on a two-game losing streak. Making the playoffs is virtually a lock for the defending Super Bowl champions, but the path to the NFC’s No. 1 seed is considerably harder. If the season ended today, the Eagles would finish atop the NFC East, but third in the conference behind the Rams and Packers.

Despite being listed as questionable on the injury list, it’s likely Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will start tonight’s game. On Monday, Herbert had surgery to fix a broken bone in his non-throwing hand.

Eagles vs. Chargers: what to know

  • When: Dec. 8, 8:15 p.m. ET

Here’s how to tune in to Monday Night Football without cable.

Eagles vs. Chargers start time:

Eagles vs. Chargers is scheduled to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET tonight, Dec. 8, on ESPN and ABC.

Is there a ManningCast tonight?

No, the Manning brothers are off tonight, but the ManningCast will return next week with Dolphins vs. Steelers.

Instead, ESPN2 will air “Monsters Funday Football,” an animated version of the game set in “Monsters, Inc.”s Monstropolis. Mike Wazowski, voiced by Billy Crystal, will suit up for the Eagles, while James P. “Sully” Sullivan, voiced by John Goodman, will take the field with the Chargers. Roz, voiced by Bob Peterson, will handle the sideline-reporting duties.
