Travis Kelce’s touchdown celebration was short-lived Sunday.

With the Chiefs looking to strike back early against the Colts, the veteran tight end rushed for a 4-yard touchdown late in the first quarter, only for the score to be called back on a 15-yard facemask penalty.

Offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor was at the center of the controversial call, with replay showing his arm appearing to brush against the helmet of Colts defensive end Kwity Paye.

Kansas City would go on to settle for a Harrison Butker field goal to get on the board, 7-3.

The Chiefs trailed at the half, 14-9.

It’s been a frustrating season for the reigning AFC champions, who currently sit at 5-5 and outside the playoff race.

Kelce, currently in his 13th season with the Chiefs, implored his teammates Wednesday to put “selfish s–t” aside with their season on the line.

“It’s frustrating because it’s gotten to the point where we’re 5-5, we’re .500 going into the back end of the schedule here, got seven games left, and we basically gotta run the table,” the three-time Super Bowl champ said on the latest installment of his “New Heights” podcast.

“I haven’t been in this situation in a long, long time, man. It’s even more frustrating knowing the kind of guys we have, knowing the kind of talent we have, knowing the type of coaches we have. Everybody’s just got to kind of look at themselves in the mirror, man.”

Entering Sunday’s game, the Chiefs dropped two straight against the Bills and Broncos, respectively.

With the clock ticking on Kansas City to salvage what’s left of the season, the organization is also bracing for massive personnel decisions down the stretch.

Kelce, 36, who announced his engagement to pop superstar Taylor Swift over the summer, told reporters Friday he intends to decide his football future in March.

He has 50 receptions for 631 yards and four touchdowns across 10 games this year.
