After recording their first win of the season two weeks ago, the New York Jets are back in action this afternoon against the Cleveland Browns.
The Jets won their Week 8 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals in a 39-38 nail-biter, and though Week 9 was their bye week, the team was active ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
Two key pieces of the Jets defense were traded this week; Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys and Sauce Gardner to the Colts. With management looking toward the future of the team now, the squad that takes the field at MetLife Stadium today will have a different look than it did two weeks ago.
Today, they’ll face the Browns, who, at 2-6, only have one more win than the Jets so far this season. The team will turn to starter Dillon Gabriel again this week, but Shedeur Sanders will return to his backup role after missing Week 8 with a back injury.
