The Jets are raising ticket prices for the 2026 season and some fans are outraged — seemingly more related to the 1-7 record on the field than the pricing.

A Jets spokesperson told The Post on Tuesday that part of the fan anger is driven by a lack of recognition that the increase in 2026 season ticket prices is partially due to the addition of a ninth home game, one more than this season.

The Jets have only eight this season at MetLife, because their game against Denver in London was a home game for them — one that the fans were not charged for unless they bought tickets for that game.

The Jets spokesperson said the increase comes out to an average of a 3.5 percent increase throughout the entirety of MetLife Stadium.

The spokesperson, too, said the prices for entire sections of upper-deck seating and lower end zone seating — “the more affordable seats’’ — aren’t increasing at all.

The person said, “56 percent of the building went up between about $5 and $10 per seat per game.’’ The premium seating, like the Coaches Club, increased more significantly because alcohol will now be included in the ticket price as well as food.

“This is normal procedure for us’’ to send the ticket notices out at this time of year so fans can start payment plans if they need to, the spokesperson said.

“The first thing people have to look at is last year they didn’t pay for a full season of home games because of the London game, so the [2025] ticket prices were reduced by one game,’’ the spokesperson said. “That game comes back to us next year because we have nine home games.’’
