The Washington Commanders will be without their starting quarterback as they close out Week 8 against Kansas City on Monday Night Football.

After missing two games due to a knee injury earlier this season, Jayden Daniels will miss his third game of the season tonight following a hamstring injury sustained in last week’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Marcus Mariota is set to make his third start for the Commanders tonight; in two prior starts, he is 1-1 with a 60.3% completion percentage for 426 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. The Commanders will also get some offensive help from both Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel, who return after missing time due to injury.

They’ll face off with a Chiefs team who finally found their groove after starting the season 0-2. Kansas City has won three of their last four, including a 31-0 shutout win against the Raiders in Week 7.
