The Knicks will again be without Mitchell Robinson.

He is out for the Knicks’ clash against the Celtics on Friday night at the Garden, missing his second straight game with left ankle injury management.

It’s concerning that Robinson’s left ankle, which he’s had two surgeries on over the past two years, is already causing him to miss games.

But coach Mike Brown is adamant that Robinson did not suffer a new injury and that this was always part of the plan.

And he’s not worried that it is a bigger problem.

“I don’t think about that stuff,” Brown said Wednesday. “I allow our medical team to handle it. I’ll take the lead after they give me word because that’s what their job is. For me to get into that, I’m not an expert at it.”

Ariel Hukporti started at center in place of Robinson for the Knicks’ Opening Night win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday.

He scored two points and grabbed five rebounds in 18 minutes.

Josh Hart (lumbar spasms) and Karl-Anthony Towns (right quad strain) are questionable, while OG Anunoby (left ankle sprain) is probable. Hart missed Wednesday’s game, while Towns and Anunoby started.

Towns revealed after the game that he is dealing with a Grade 2 strain to his right quad, saying he was in pain while playing.

“It’s not something that’s easy to deal with,” Towns said after the game. “We made it happen tonight. I thought the fans respected the effort I put in to play tonight and my teammates did, too. So shout out to them supporting me and understanding the situation I was in.”
