If you’re too tight on time to read through your backlog of books, audiobooks might be a more convenient way to get caught up. Amazon is offering a steep discount on Audible Premium Plus that lets new and lapsed subscribers pay $.99 (usually $14.95) per month for three months. The subscription includes one credit per month, enough for one audiobook, and each redemption will remain in your library even if you end the service. It also includes unlimited access to the Audible Plus and Audible Original libraries, the Audible Sleep Collection, and titles from Audible’s Words + Music series.

You can listen to audiobooks in your browser, through a Kindle with Bluetooth headphones connected, or through the Audible app on your smartphone or tablet. Audible syncs your progress between devices, so you can start a book on your phone and continue on your Kindle later on without struggling to find where you left off. It’s worth noting that many titles from the Audible Plus, Original, Sleep Collection, and Words + Music collections can’t be purchased outside of the subscription, so be sure to take advantage of your access to check those out. You can also subscribe and listen to podcasts through the Audible app if you prefer to have all your spoken-word content in one app.

The deal is available until December 17th at 2:59AM ET / 11:59PM PT and saves you around $41 once the monthly discounts have concluded. Your subscription will automatically renew at the original price after the three-month promotional period, unless you cancel beforehand. New subscribers can get a 30-day subscription to Audible Premium Plus from Audible, but at this price, you might as well commit for three months and reap the audiobook credit rewards.
