Even in the wake of arguably the most devastating loss of the Brian Daboll era Sunday in Denver, the Giants flew back home to New Jersey on Sunday night with hope.
Their hope lies in the right arm (and legs) of fearless rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, as well as in Cam Skattebo, their wrecking-ball rookie running back.
Conversely, a few hours earlier, the Jets filed slowly from the quiet of their losing locker room out of MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon after a lifeless, desultory 13-6 loss to the endlessly mediocre Panthers with no hope.
