A new limited series about the 2021 Murdaugh case and the Murdaugh family is making its way to Hulu.

The new show, “Murdaugh: Death in the Family,” is a dramatization of the life Alex Murdaugh built with his wife Maggie and his sons Buster and Paul, and the community they lived in before and after Paul and Maggie’s murders.

Jason Clarke and Patricia Arquette star as Alex and Maggie Murdaugh.

The series is inspired by the 93-episode “Murdaugh Murders Podcast,” and parts of that will be reflected in the series, with Brittany Snow portraying Mandy Matney, the podcast host who was often the first to reveal new information about the case to the public.

Here’s everything you need to know about “Murdaugh: Death in the Family,” from when you can tune in to who’s in the cast.

‘Murdaugh: Death in the Family’ release date and time

The first three episodes of “Murdaugh: Death in the Family” will drop Oct. 15 on Hulu. New episodes will drop weekly at midnight ET on Wednesdays through Nov. 19.

How to watch ‘Murdaugh: Death in the Family’ for free

If you’re new to Hulu, you can get started with a 30-day free trial on the streamer’s basic (with ads) plan. After the trial period, you’ll pay $9.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month.

If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the Disney+ Bundles, all of which include Hulu.
