Bijan Robinson has some words of wisdom for Arch Manning.

Robinson, who also attended Texas for his college career, gave some advice to the struggling quarterback during “The Rich Eisen Show” on Tuesday, telling him to ignore the media.

“I would say to continue to stay consistent,” Robinson told Rich Eisen when asked about Manning. “Stay consistent as much as possible. You know, don’t listen to the media, because the media can either steer you in the right direction or it’ll tarnish you for your career.

“So, for him, always know that everybody has his back in that building. Coach [Steve] Sarkisian will have his back. Everybody around him has his back.”

Robinson, in his third season with the Hawks, made some more comments regarding Manning during an appearance on “The Zach Gelb Show,” during which the Pro Bowler called for people to stop referring to the 21-year-old as a bust.

“I feel like you shouldn’t put that on a kid because all he’s trying to do is improve,” Robinson said. “All he’s trying to do is become the best that he can become, not just for himself, but his team. That word — the b-word — I really hate that people use that word, especially with him, man.

“He’s one guy that if you knew who he was as a person, then you would know that all he’s trying to do is make his team the best.”

Manning has failed to impress so far during his first season starting for the Longhorns, with his most recent performance being a devastating 29-21 loss to Florida in which he threw two interceptions and was sacked six times.

Despite the rough showing, Sarkisian told reporters after the game that Manning “competed really well.”

“He did take some hits,” Texas coach Steve Sarkisian said. “I thought Arch competed really well. He battled his butt off. … I’m sure there’s going to plays he’s going to look at on the film and say he wished he could have back that we thought we had going.

“But I thought he battled and competed.”
