Dolly Parton is coming to Las Vegas…just a little later than expected.

Due to a minor health scare, the 79-year-old country singer recently postponed her December 2025 ‘Dolly: Live In Las Vegas’ residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

She’ll now take the stage at the 4,100-seat venue in September 2026. To make sure you’re in the loop, here are the dates for her six rescheduled shows:

Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026
8 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026
8 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026
8 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026
8 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 25, 2026
8 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026
8 p.m.

“…I know everybody thinks I’m sicker than I am,” Parton shared in an emphatic Instagram video referring to rumors that circulated after her sister Freida asked fans to pray for her. “…I wanted to put everybody’s mind at ease…and I appreciate your prayers.”

She later went on to note that she had “let a lot of things go” health-wise after her husband Carl Dean passed and doctors subsequently told her there were some issues — reportedly kidney stones and a related infection — to address.

“Nothing major but I had to cancel some things so I could be closer to home…and have a few treatments here and there,” she reassured her fanbase.

“I’m not dying,” the ten-time Grammy winner added.

When Parton does pick the mic back up in Vegas come September 2026, the sextet of shows will be her most since 2016’s nationwide ‘Pure & Simple Tour.’

Although we can’t guarantee what she’ll take to the stage at these concerts, Set List FM documented that “Backwoods Barbie” performed fan favorites like “9 to 5,” “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You” and “Islands In The Stream” as well as a pair of medleys made up of Americana staples at her ‘Pure & Simple’ gigs nearly a decade ago now.

“…I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there,” Parton, 79, said in a statement ahead of the initial residency announcement. “I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there.”

Dolly Parton new music

2025 has been quite busy for Mrs. Parton. In addition to releasing “The Dollywood Collection: Celebrating 40 Years of Music & Memories,” she collaborated with Mötley Crüe on a rousing version of “Home Sweet Home,” dropped “If You Hadn’t Been There, which serves as a moving tribute to her late husband Carl Dean and sang with The Wiggles on a silly children’s ditty dubbed “Friends!”

If anyone has range, it’s the Smoky Mountain Songbird.
