Jerry Jones wasn’t telling Jets fans they’re No. 1 when he stuck a particular finger in the air towards supporters at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

The Cowboys’ owner was seen on video giving the middle finger to fans at some point after the Jets had lost, 37-22, to Dallas on Sunday and dropped to 0-5 on the season.

The video shows Jones waving to fans from his suite inside the stadium before looking down and flipping the bird before pointing at someone in the crowd.

A second video circulating online captured the same scene from a different angle, and it looked as though Jones was responding to a fan who could be seen giving him the middle finger.

Former Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant had posted the video to X on Sunday night with the caption: “Quit playing with Mr. Jerry Jones. Go Cowboys.”

The NFL has not commented on the gesture, but it has often not looked too kindly on actions like that in the past.

The NFL fined then-Titans owner Bud Adams $250,000 after he gave the middle finger while in his suite and on the field celebrating a win against the Bills in 2009.

Two years ago, David Tepper was docked $300,000 when he was caught on camera throwing a drink toward Jaguars fans after the Panthers lost to the Jags 26-0.

Sunday was a tough day all around for the Jets and their fan base.

First-year head coach Aaron Glenn became the first in franchise history to lose the first five games of his tenure and it was the first time the Cowboys had beaten the Jets on the road since 2003.

The Jets will look to end their losing streak on Sunday when they face the Broncos in London and the Cowboys will look for their third win of the year when they face the Panthers.
