Mike Wolfe’s girlfriend is on “a long road to healing” after the couple was in a gruesome car crash.
The “American Pickers” star’s rep gave an update on Wolfe, 61, and his girlfriend Leticia Cline’s conditions after they were hospitalized for the Sept. 12 accident.
“As many of you know, Mike has been discharged from the hospital,” the rep told People on Wednesday. “He is focusing on follow-up appointments and continuing to manage lingering effects from the accident, particularly injuries to his knee and wrist.”
But Cline’s “healing journey is more complex,” Wolfe’s spokesperson said.
“She remains in the hospital and recently underwent extensive jaw surgery after suffering breaks in three places,” the rep explained. “Her surgical team shared that it was one of the most difficult cases they have ever worked on. While the procedure was successful, she is experiencing significant pain and faces a long recovery ahead.”
“Mike and Leticia will provide updates as they are able,” the spokesperson added. “For now, we ask that you continue to keep Leticia in your hearts as she bravely begins this long road to healing.”
Wolfe’s rep also told People that the couple is “deeply grateful for every call, text, prayer, visit and message of support” they’ve gotten since the crash.
“Your love has truly carried them through. They are also thankful for the outstanding care at Vanderbilt and know they are in the very best hands,” the rep added.
Wolfe and Cline, who have been dating since 2021, both suffered serious injuries after getting in a car accident in Columbia, Tennessee nearly two weeks ago.
The reality star was treated for a broken nose, injured knee, and facial lacerations requiring stitches.
Cline, meanwhile, suffered fractures to her jaw, sternum, and ribs and her lung partially collapsed. The model outlined her injuries on social media, sharing that her “mouth will be wired shut” as part of her recovery.
In a separate Instagram photo, Wolfe reclined next to his girlfriend as she slept in her hospital bed while wearing a neck brace.
“It’s been a rough nite but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel,” Wolfe told fans in a social media update last week.
“I truly believe in the power of group prayers thank you to all of you that have sent them to us,” he added.
Wolfe is famous for starring in the hit History Channel show, “American Pickers,” which kicked off its 27th season in July.
