Following a fantastic night for New York baseball we’ll keep the good vibes going in the 3 Things I Think Video for today.

To say it hasn’t been a positive season for Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe would be an understatement, but I’ll explain why Aaron Boone may be hopeful that what he’s gotten out of Volpe recently is exactly what the Yankees will need from him — as the starting shortstop — come playoff time.

On the other side of town, I’m thinking that no Mets player has done more for his reputation during this down period than their catcher Francisco Alvarez.

And I’ll tell you which former Yankees fan favorite and leader Brandon Nimmo’s career arc is most reminiscent of.
