Jordon Hudson’s pep talk to Bill Belichick was clearly not enough for his Tar Heels on Saturday.

Shortly before UNC’s blowout 34-9 loss to Central Florida, Hudson, 24, was seen in high heels on the sidelines of FBC Mortgage Stadium, seemingly giving Belichick, 73, some words of wisdom before the game.

It’s unclear what was exactly said during the couple’s conversation, but it is not the first time Hudson has been spotted cheering on Belichick this season.

Saturday’s game was lopsided against the Tar Heels’ favor from the start, with Central Florida putting up 13 unanswered points before UNC finally making a field goal late in the second quarter.

“First of all, he did a great job with UCF today,” Belichick said of Knights head coach Scott Frost following the game. “Their team played well, certainly better than we did. There were too many problems out there to be consistent.”

“There are a lot of things that we need to do a better job of and they were just better than us today,” Belichick said after his squad fell to 2-2.

North Carolina quarterback Gio Lopez, one of Belichick’s first big splashes since taking over the program in December, threw for just 87 yards with two interceptions before leaving the game with a right leg injury in the third quarter.

Lopez then had to exit the game on a golf cart as he was seemingly unable to put any pressure on his right leg.

Quarterback Tayven Jackson led the Knights to their third straight win to start the season with 223 passing yards and 66 rushing yards with both a passing and rushing touchdown.

This is the third straight season that Central Florida has started the year with a 3-0 record, and Frost said following Saturday’s game that his team is playing with a chip on its shoulder.

“This is only my third season coaching at UCF,” Frost told reporters. “But I’ve been around coach (Sean) Beckton and Travis Fisher a lot, and that seems like the ammo of UCF — going a long way back we have been a little disrespected.

“We’re not Central Florida. We’re UCF. People picking us last and not having any confidence in several people on the coaching staff and we haven’t done anything yet, but I think it fits with what UCF has been for a long time if we play with a little chip.”
