Do not turn this into a moral victory.

Do not make this into a story about how the 0-2 Giants were oh-so-close, how Russell Wilson played so much better than he did a week ago, how Malik Nabers was terrific and how if it hadn’t been for that five-car pileup on Rockaway Boulevard, that numbskull would be on a plane for Seattle right now instead of looking for a parking space downstairs.

Do not let the Giants off the hook for this one. They don’t deserve it.

Nabers’ 167-yard, two-touchdown performance that included a dramatic 48-yard touchdown catch to put the Giants ahead with 25 seconds to go in regulation felt all too reminiscent of Odell Beckham Jr.’s breakout “Sunday Night Football” performance against Dallas in 2014, when Beckham scored twice, caught 11 passes for 146 yards and put himself on the forever highlight reel with an astonishing one-handed touchdown grab.
