Quinton “Rampage” Jackson had a different message this time after his son’s shocking attack.

Just three days after his son, Raja Jackson, brutally assaulted professional wrestler Stuart Smith in a bit gone bad, Rampage took an opportunity to release a statement about his son in a live-stream video.

“I feel bad about what happened to Syco Stu. I don’t condone what my son did at all,” Rampage. “I’m gonna let justice play out. Ain’t much I can do on that side … I just wish I could’ve been there.”

Rampage adds that he could’ve stopped this ugly incident before it ever happened.

Regarding his responsibility to support his son, he said it’s his duty to have his back.

“I’m doing what any father would do, which is being a father in hard moments like this,” Jackson added. “Sometimes you’re proud of your kids and sometimes you’re not proud of your kids, but at the end of the day, you’re still a father.

“Hopefully, one day I can meet Syco Stu and shake his hand. I hope he can forgive me — as a dad– for not understanding everything.”

Smith is said to be still hospitalized from the brutal attack on Sunday, and the wrestler who finally intervened after 20 unanswered ground-and-pound strikes drilled Smith’s face, said Raja wanted to kill him.

Rampage again added that he has been subject to death threats and a lot of racist remarks, specifically calling out the MMA personality, MMA Guru.

“People like MMA Guru. That guy is supposed to be some kind of journalist, and his racism came out,” he said. “His racism showed. It’s 2025. People do sh–t. Some people f–k up. It shouldn’t turn into race.”

“I call an attempted murderer a dumb animal,” MMA Guru responded on social media. “Rampage calls me racist for it. ‘Its 2025,’ Yes it’s 2025, focus on the attempted murderer of [your] son, you’ve got you failure of a dad & not what names I call him. Your own victim mindset is probably what made your son bulliable by teenagers.”

Raja awaits the result of an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, and he could face charges for the incident.
