Forbidden Door didn’t deliver any titanic shifts in the AEW landscape with only one championship changing hands.

The show did provide plenty of new directions for stories to follow in front of a record crowd for pro wrestling at the O2 Arena in London with an announced 18,992 fans on Saturday.

Here are five things we learned from another solid outing from AEW that just didn’t reach an elite level.

Along for the Ride

The Death Riders’ dark cloud over AEW is here for the long haul. The group has taken hits with lost championships — especially Jon Moxley dropping the world championship to “Hangman” Adam Page. And they just lost a wild lights-out steel cage match to a stacked babyface team at Forbidden Door — but AEW made sure to protect them.
