Just one day after winning the mens singles title at the Cincinnati Open, Carlos Alcaraz is making his 2025 US Open debut in the new-look Mixed Doubles tournament.

Alcaraz, a five-time Grand Slam champion, is playing alongside close friend and 2021 US Open women’s champ Emma Raducanu in the two-day Mixed Doubles events.

The pair will play their first match against American Jessica Pegula and her partner Jack Draper.

Yesterday, Alcaraz, the No. 2 ranked player in the world, won the Cincinnati Open when his opponent, No. 1 Jannik Sinner, retired with illness just five games into the first set. Both Alcaraz and Sinner will be back in action when the US Open men’s singles tournament officially begins next week.
