Zoom is suffering from a major outage, preventing people from connecting to video calls or even accessing its website. As shown by data on Downdetector, the outage appeared to have started around 3PM ET.
Though I’m able to open the Zoom app on Mac, I receive an error message when trying to sign in with Google. Instead of displaying a sign-in page within my browser, the page reads: “This site can’t be reached. Check to see if there is a typo in google.zoom.com.”
The Zoom website is also completely down, as it displays a 502 Bad Gateway error.
It’s still not clear how widespread the outage is, or how long it will take for Zoom to roll out a fix. noti.group attempted to reach Zoom for comment, but our email bounced seemingly due to the outage.
