The wild thing is, Sami and Lola Sheen weren’t aware their stepmom was once Brooke Mueller.
Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards‘ daughters said that while Mueller, 47, has always been part of their family, they weren’t sure how serious her relationship with their dad, 59, once was.
On Tuesday’s episode of “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” the mother-daughter trio planned a memorial for Mueller’s recently deceased pet lizard.
“With Brooke, I pray that she is OK,” Lola, 19, said in her confessional. “I think she was married to my dad. I actually…”
After pausing for a moment to think about it, she warily continued, “Yeah, they got married — I’m pretty sure.”
Sami, meanwhile, was wondering the same thing.
“Was she married?” the 21-year-old asked Richards, 54. “She was married to him?”
“The World Is Not Enough” alum laughed before responding, “You didn’t know she was married to your dad?”
“No,” Sami answered, to which Richards quipped, “You were there!”
The reality star then inquired about how old she was during Mueller and Sheen’s wedding. The pair tied the knot in 2008 before divorcing in 2011.
“I don’t know s–t!” exclaimed Sami.
A sentiment echoed lovingly by her mom, who was married to the “Two and a Half Men” alum from 2002 to 2006: “Clearly!”
Mueller – who has twin sons Bob and Max, 15, with Sheen – has appeared multiple times on the half-hour Bravo show.
“[We] get along very, very well,” the actress said while on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast in September, adding that “it was not always good.”
“The reason why our relationship wasn’t good, it didn’t have to do with Denise, it was my addiction,” Mueller admitted.
In 2012, Richards took in Bob and Max after DCF social workers intervened due to Mueller’s erratic behavior. The “RHOBH” alum kept custody of the twins until 2013, per People.
“It’s like I have that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing, so it really wasn’t anything she did,” Mueller teased on the podcast. “She actually did step up and tried to step up, and was very helpful.”
Richards stepped up to the plate once more by caring for her lizard Godzilla while she was in rehab years later.
At the time of the podcast, Mueller said she was nine months sober and attributed Richards to helping her get to the other side.
“In fact, she was really helpful with me recently too, last year,” she stated.
During the premiere of “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” Richards had a family picnic in Malibu and explained why it was important to have Mueller there.
“I wanted to include Brooke, Charlie’s other ex-wife,” she said in her confessional. “There’s a lot of history there. Her sons are my daughters’ brothers. We are a big, blended family.”
“It’s a blended family, and there were times things were not great with their dad, and then him and Brooke, and then me and Brooke,” Richards told Us Weekly in February. “It’s always up and down, so I always try to keep it as harmonious as possible. When it’s peaceful and great, we’ll take it and it’s good. It’s really good right now.”
