Meghan Markle is choosing to be the eternal optimist.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, dropped the first trailer for her Netflix lifestyle series titled “With Love, Meghan” earlier this month, in which she showed off her cooking and gardening skills with appearances from her celebrity friends.
But following the devastating fires that have ravaged through Los Angeles in recent days, Markle announced that the series’ release has been postponed to March 4 instead of Jan. 15.
Still, the sudden shift in plans has not had an effect on Markle’s hopes for the project, as insiders claim she believes the Netflix project is “going to do well.”
“She is so confident it’s going to do well and she will get the accolades she deserves for it, which will finally shut some people up. She can’t wait,” a source told OK! Magazine.
The insider added that the “Suits” alum’s previous experience as an actress has played a part in her confidence in the business venture.
“She has always been confident in her own abilities and while her confidence took a knock when she was in the royal family, she is riding high again and she’s so proud of this show,” the source added.
As for the show itself, insiders say that the mom of two “doesn’t really mention” her royal connections in front of the cameras.
“People tend to underestimate her, but Meghan knows what the audience wants and she is giving them that with this show,” the source claimed.
“People always open up to her because she listens and cares. She knows the audience will warm to her if they give the show a chance.”
The Post has reached out to Markle’s reps for comment.
Directed by Michael Steed, “With Love, Meghan” boasts eight episodes, each 33 minutes long. Markle and Harry, 40, produced the series via their Archewell Productions company.
Announcing the show’s delay due to the LA fires, Markle said in a statement last week, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”
The series will follow the former royal in the kitchen with some of her famous friends, including Mindy Kaling and her “Suits” co-star Abigail Spencer.
The former actress finished filming the show in July.
The Sussexes signed a $100 million deal with the streaming giant in 2020. It’s unclear if their deal with the platform will be renewed when it comes to an end this summer.
