This is the terrifying moment the crew of a massive cargo ship were forced to scramble for safety after it capsized and sank.
The Comoros-flagged vessel, named Amnah, capsized in Ambarli-Marpot port in Istanbul, Turkey, forcing at least 15 people to jump off it, according to local reports.
Terrifying footage of the capsize showed the cargo ship keeling over, with several people running off its desk.
Massive containers could be seen plunging into the water around the port.
A separate video of the aftermath showed the vessel at laying on its side at a steep angle, with its hull touching the sides of the port.
Local media reported that three people were forced to jump into the waters around the boat, where they were picked up by tug boats.
One crew member reportedly sustained minor injuries during the chaos.
Turkey’s transportation ministry said in a statement on X: ‘The risk to the marine environment has been controlled, and the vessel is surrounded by floating barriers.’

The Amnah had arrived in Istanbul from Derince Port, located at Izmit Bay to the west of Istanbul.
It was built in 1996, and is 101 meters (331ft) long and 18 meters (59ft) wide.
It comes a year after a cargo ship was ripped in half in a storm off the coast of Turkey as rescue teams desperately searched for 11 sailors from another vessel that sank in the choppy waters.
The Cameroon-flagged Pallada broke in two after running aground amid 16ft waves off Eregli, a coastal town east of Istanbul. All 13 crew members were rescued.
But the weather hampered efforts to reach another cargo vessel, the Turkish-flagged Kafkametler, which sank off the same coast in Turkey’s Zonguldak province with 12 crew on board.
Rescue crews retrieved the body of one crew member from the choppy seas, as they desperately searched for the other 11 sailors.
