A Pittsburgh attorney says his client plans to file a criminal assault complaint against Rams star Aaron Donald stemming from an incident that allegedly happened in the 3 a.m. hour last weekend, according to multiple reports.
KDKA radio reporter Andy Sheehan published to Twitter a photo of a man identified as De Vincent Spriggs, showing cuts on his face and a swollen-shut eye. Spriggs’ attorney, Todd Hollis, reportedly provided the photo and told KDKA of the intention to pursue charges.
Donald, who was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2020 for the third time in his career, attended high school in the Pittsburgh area and starred at the University of Pittsburgh.
Hollis told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the alleged assault happened at an after-hours club, and that his client suffered a concussion and other injuries at the hand of Donald.
