Model Christen Harper is kicking off her Thanksgiving with some Lions football.
Ahead of boyfriend Jared Goff’s game against the Bears on Thursday, Harper showed off her game-day gear on Instagram as she made her way to Ford Field in Detroit.
“Great day for some football!!” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit stunner wrote on her Instagram Story. “Go lions.”
In one post, Harper is seen modeling a black T-shirt that featured Goff’s name written throughout, along with a black puffer jacket, skinny jeans and black boots.
Goff, who didn’t play in last Sunday’s loss to the Browns with an oblique injury, threw a touchdown on the Lions’ opening drive Thursday.
A former first-round pick, Goff was traded to the Lions in the offseason by the Rams, who acquired quarterback Matthew Stafford in return. In response to the blockbuster trade, Harper — who was first linked to Goff in 2019 — wrote a touching message to her quarterback beau.
“So grateful I got to be part of this journey with you for the last 3 seasons in LA,” Harper wrote on Instagram in February. “@Jaredgoff I love you so much and so excited for his new adventure.”
Unfortunately for Goff, his new adventure in Detroit has been rocky. Not only are the Lions the NFL’s only winless team (0-9-1, to be exact), but Goff recently received a lukewarm endorsement from coach Dan Campbell.
“Well, it’s hard to say that he shouldn’t be the guy right now. It’s hard to say that, man, because [if you say], ‘Oh man, make this throw’ — well again, every time we try to throw it and dropped back, just about, our protection breaks down,” Campbell told reporters earlier this month, according to Pro Football Talk.
“And so until we can do things right around him… Now, yeah, there’s throws we want to see that he needs to make. There was a dart that we threw to ‘Lif’ [Kalif Raymond] that we should make and he’s pissed off about it, too. But ultimately, I still think right now, he’s the guy that gives us the best chance,” he continued.
So far this season, Goff has completed 66 percent of his passes.
